Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Suzanne. Before we moved to Austin, I'd spoken with a hometown friend's mother, who had moved to Austin and is a real estate agent, to help us find a rental. She's a wonderful person, but the experience of trying to work with her to find a rental was so awful that I almost swore off agents entirely. Luckily a friend of a friend recommended Suzanne, and the rest is history! She understood what we were looking for and found us the perfect rental for what we needed. We knew right away that we wanted to work with her when it came time for us to buy a house. I hear horror stories about people trying to find homes to buy around Austin and not being able to get one, and my wife and I were worried that might happen to us. With Suzanne, though, we only had to put in two offers, and our search was over within a week of looking at our first house! She was upfront and honest about expectations and the process and made the whole thing easier than I imagined it would be (although... still quite complicated, of course). Before we looked at any houses, Suzanne walked us through the various payments, the offer and contract process, mortgage information, and lots of other stuff. Our lender required us to take an online first-time homebuyer course, and almost all of what the course said was a review of what Suzanne had already explained to us! And after it all, we bought a house that we absolutely love and are looking forward to building a family in. So this is more than just getting feedback on our experience with Suzanne and selling our home because now we have also found a home that we love and are in the process of buying a home with Suzanne. As for the selling part, she made it a very easy process, and it all happened much faster than we had anticipated and hoped, which really made that more enjoyable than anything we could have expected. After the ease of selling our home, we thought now we can take our time buying. Of course, a month seems like forever when looking for your next home. A few weeks went by, and we went after several homes and did not get them.
